Generic Vermox is used to treat infections caused by worms such as whipworm, pinworm, roundworm, and hookworm. It is also used to treat infections caused by more than one of these worms at the same time.
Generic Vermox is an antihelmintic, or anti-worm, medication. It prevents worms from growing or multiplying in your body.
Vermox is also known as Mebendazole, Ovex, Antiox, Pripsen, Mebex, Wormin.

Generic Vermox tablets may be swallowed, chewed, or crushed and mixed with food.
It may be up to 3 days after treatment before the worm is removed from your stomach and intestines. The amount of time it takes to cure the infection depends on how susceptible the worm is to Generic Vermox, and how quickly your own digestive system is moving. If the infection has not been cured within 3 weeks, a second treatment may be necessary.
Treatment of family members and other close contacts may be necessary. Pinworm is spread very easily to others in close contact with the infected person.
If you want to achieve most effective results do not stop taking Generic Vermox suddenly.
Missing of dose
Do not take double dose. If you miss a dose you should take it as soon as you remember about your missing. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule.
If you overdose Generic Vermox and you don't feel good you should visit your doctor or health care provider immediately.
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F) away from moisture and heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date. Keep out of the reach of children in a container that small children cannot open.
